AKHNOOR: Minister for Health, Sham Lal Sharma today conducted an extensive tour of Pahari belt of Akhnoor block and took stock of peoples problems. Member Parliament, Madam Lal Sharma, Vice Chairman, OBC Advisory Board, Kuldip Verma, heads of various departments accompanied the Minister. Addressing public meeting at Chowkichura, Hardo Malada, Salyot and adjoining areas, the Minister said that government was committed to provide improved basic facilities to the people of all the three regions of the State especially rural and far flung areas. In this regard, numerous measures have been taken during the past 4 years, he added. He asked the people to maintain close coordination with the administration to avail the benefits of various schemes. He said government has devised a well-knit programme for the development of all vital sectors and the achievements speaks about the sincerity and commitment of the present government. He said coalition government has been making constant efforts to upgrade the infrastructural facilities in education, health and road sector which are key to the development and prosperity of the people. |
