Srinagar, Dec 29: Jammu and Kashmir Prad-esh Congress Committee President, Saifuddin Soz has said that the party is planning to organized a grand youth convention in the state. He said that he will be inviting Congress General Secretary, Rahul Gandhi as a chief guest at the convention.
"I would invite Rahul Gandhi MP General Secretary AICC to be the Chief Guest at the proposed Youth Convention which may probably be organized in March 2013", he said in a statement issued to media here.
He said the Congress Party has become a vibrant situation in the State and it augurs well for the people of the State as the Motto of the Congress Party will always be dedicated service to the people.
"I welcome Zahid Bashir of Lal Chowk (Mais-uma) Srinagar, Kashmir in to the Congress Party's fold. Even in very cold weather and rains his associates numbering one thousand, approximately, waited for my arrival from Delhi", the statement read.
"Zahid Bashir has made a statement at the Congress Party HQ today that his four thousand associates would be willing to be part of the J&K Youth Congress. I have already declared that the Congress Party would organize State Youth Convention at which Mr. Zahid Bashir and his associates would be specially invited", it added. |
