| Delhi Rape case: NPSU alleges delay in specialized mediacare | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 29: Natio-nal Panthers Students Union (NPSU) held a meeting in which activists and leaders of union expressed concerned over tragic death of gang rape victim in Singapore and alleged the delayed evacuation to Singapore itself shows irresponsibility of govt and mere an eye wash for common people who were protesting across the nation. Speaking in this meeting Anupama (President GCW Prade & NPSU Leader) and Aisha Chou-dhary (Leader NPSU) said that the stern and immediate action should be taken against the accused persons and the trial of the case should be initiated and completed without any delay on the part of the police authorities and the prosecution. Partap Singh Jamwal (State President NPSU) alleged that the Delhi and central govt failed to provide due medical attention to the victim. He said the delayed evacuation to Singapore itself shows irresponsibility of govt and mere an eye wash for common people who were protesting across the nation. Jamwal demanded that the victim of Delhi gang rape a Martyr and her last rites should be performed with full national honour. He further demanded that day of death of the Delhi gang rape victim should be observed as a Black day. Among others present in the meeting were Virender Singh Presi-dent JU NPSU; and presidents of different units of the NPSU. |
