| Protest against unscheduled power cuts held | | | early times report
Rajouri, Dec 29: Advocates of District and Session Court Rajouri today held a candle Light protest March against the unschedule power Curtailment. They also alleged state government responsible for ignoring this border area on developmental fronts and also alleged local MLA and MoS Power Shabir Ahmed Khan to be failure in bringing reform in the power sector to tackle the growing need of public.
As per reports under the leadership of Rajouri Bar Secretary Adv. Vibodh Gupta, a large number of advocates of District and Session Court carried out a protest rally in the main market. During this rally advocates chanted slogans against state government, power department and MoS Power Shabir Ahmed Khan. Talking with media persons advocates alleged state government for ignoring this border belt on developmental fronts and held it responsible for grim power system in the area.
Rajouri Bar Secretary Adv. Vibodh Gupta said that local MLA Shabir Ahmed Khan holds the portfolio of power ministry as its Minister of State but condition of power system in his home constituency is grim which shows his failure in bringing a reform in power sector.
Others who presented same views and held state government as well as MoS Power Shabir Ahmed Khan responsible for grim power system in Rajouri town and surrounding areas include Advocate Khilat Bhat, Ajay Gupta, Qamar-ul-Zaman, Zubair Malik, Vivek Gupta, Dushant Sharma, Shashi Sharma and Others. |
