Jammu, Dec 29: In a move to strengthen the party State Youth President JKDF Munish Khajuria Saturday announced names of District President Youth Wing for Jammu and State President Students Wing of theJKDF.
The names, according to a party statement, were announced in consultation with the President JKDF Anil Gupta. Rohit Kerni was unanimously named as President of Youth Wing of JKDF for Jammu District, While Abhishek Slathia who was previously holding the charge of District President Student Wing was appointed as State President Student Wing.
While announcing the names of newly elected office bearers, Anil Gupta said, "The elected members are young, energetic, honest and have zeal to serve the society and masses. They have proven their worth in the past. All the office bearers are elected in a democratic manner after taking all of our members into confidence and with mutual consent."
He congratulated them and hoped their association and hard work will take the party to new heights. "I appeal to all workers to fight collectively for the cause of Jammu and to play a bigger role in our fight against regional discrimination," he added.
Expressing gratitude to Gupta and Khajuria, newly appointed District President Rohit Kerni said that party has entrusted a big responsibility to him and he will try best to come up to the expectations of party.
Speaking on the occasion Abhishek Slathia said, "Students have to play a pivotal role in shaping the party. Students are the icons of youth aspirations and have a big responsibility of leading the society in a right perspective." |
