| Madan urges to declare Mandal Phallian, Pargwal as tourism destination | | | early times report
Mandal Phallian, Jan 4: Madan Lal Sharma Member Parliament Jam-mu-Poonch Constituency asked the tourism department to bring Soujana, Mandal Phallian, Pargwal on the tourism map of the state in view of its scenic beauty. He also said that tawi Island is locked on Indo-Pak border and boasting tourism will also raise the economy of the people of this far flung and backward area He was speaking on the occasion of Havan organised by Dawrika Nath Shastri trust at Soujana Panch-ayat. Sharma appealed the state Govt. to declare Soujana, Mandal Phallian and Pargwal as backward, as the area fullfills the criteria for that. He also cautioned people to maintain cleanliness and not to allow mosquitoes to generate. He also demanded special recruitment by State Police on spot for the area like this. On the occasion Sharma announced Rs 20 lakh for construction of Gowshalla out of MP LADS Scheme and appealed the Jammu people to unite for the common cause of Jammu and Congress party is the only party which has potential to partner in Govt. and watch the interest of Jammu division as large. He said that the time has come when Jammu people should present a united phase to counter the nefarious designs of Anti Jammu forces. He maintained that he and his party believes in local Governance of which Panchayats and local bodies are the basic and measure pillar. |
