Jammu, Jan 4 (JNF): Principal Sessions Judge Kathua MK Hanjura tod-ay rejected the bail application of Hanief s/o Hassan Mohd r/o Village Banagai District Rajouri who was involved in NDPS Act.
The prosecution case is that on February 28, 2010 avehcile reportedly lodged with popular battens of M/S Valley Agro Products Milk Gund. During the check six gunny bags of allegedly poppy straw powder (Bhuki) weighing 180 KG was found. Police registered a case.
While rejecting the bail application Principal Sessions Judge Kathua MK Hanjura after hearing Adv Sat Paul Sharma appearing for the accused person whereas Public Prosecutor Ravi Kumar Gupta for the state, observed poppy straw weighing 180 KG fall within the scales of commercial quantity and dismissed the bail application. |
