Jammu, Jan 4: Locals stage protest against Jam-mu Municipal Corpor-ation (JMC) Electrical Unit in front of its office at Town Hall Jammu alleging that the high mast lights installed by the said section went dysfunctional in various places in Jammu West and no action has been taken in this regard despite repeated requests.
Protestors led by Vijay Magotra President Assembly Youth Congress Jammu West complained that high mast lights installed at various places in the Jammu West Constituency. They said JMC Electrical unit Sunil Kotwal (Ex En) and others too have been informed about the situation so that the contractor may be approached to obtain the warranty for the replacement of the lights but no action was taken by JMC electrical Unit. And as the warranty period has expired this has ended into a huge loss to the state exchequer, he added. Youth General Secretary Jammu West Ricky Dalotra, Vishu Sharma, Bachan Lal, Karandeep Singh, Dheeraj Sharma, Raman Kumar, Bunty Kumar, Varun Gupta also addressed the protestors.
