| BGM condemns ceasefire violations, terms Mendhar incident unfortunate | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Jan 10: Bharatiya Gujjar Mahasabha (BGM) today strongly condemned the incident of violation of cease fire violation and line of control in the forward locations by troops from other side of border while has termed Mendhar incident as highly unfortunate and tragic one. In a press statement issued here today, Bharatiya Gujjar Mahas abha President Eshfaq-ur-Rehman Poswal has condemned the incident of killing of two Indian soldiers by in line of control violation in Mendhar Mankote area of Poonch district. "Our organization strongly condemns this inhumane act wherein a head of a person is chopped off," said Poswal adding that we lodge our protest on this with both state as well as central government who should take this incident quite seriously. He also said that cease fire violation and now LoC violation is highly condemnable and should be dealt strictly. Along with Mendhar incident, Poswal also termed the incident of cease fire violation in Uri sector three days ago as extremely unfortunate which breaks the bond of trust and even affects the peaceful situation in state. President Eshfaq-ur-Rehman also expressed sympathy and nations pride to the family of both the deceased soldiers in Mendhar incident and also expressed support and courage to the population residing in forward locations on this side of LoC who are reportedly in a state of fear after Tuesday incident in Mendhar area. |
