Srinagar, Jan 16: A Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militant was arrested alongwith an AK rifle and other arms and ammunition in Dalgate area of the city, a police spokesman said here this afternoon.
He said a police party from police station Ram-Munshi Bagh arrested a HM militant Feroz Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Jawahar Nagar, at Maltang Dalgate.
He said the arms and ammunition recovered from him included an AK 47 rifle, two AK magazines, 26 rounds of AK 47 and one wireless set.
He was being further interrogated, he said. |
