JAMMU, Jan 16: During his seven days extensive tour of border District Rajouri and Poonch, Eshfaq-ul-Rehman Poswal state President Bharatiya Gujjar Maha Sabha, today conducted a day long tour of Tehsil Mendhar, after visiting various villages including Chunga, Brela, Qasbalari, Gursai, Man-kote and Chajla villages of Mendhar Tehsil.
Addressing the public, Poswal flayed State Gove-rnment for taking double standards.
He warned Government to immediately review ban on Inter District Recruit-ment and said as Govern-ment is giving relaxation to SC People similar relaxation should be given to downtrodden ST peoples. He demanded that government must launch a campaign for youths of Mendhar Tehsil as this tehsil is neglected in development.
Addressing a gathering at border village Bareela, Poswal said I noticed that there is worst condition of Animal Husbandry, Med-ical and Education Depa-rtment in Mendhar Block especially in tribal areas. |
