Kishtwar, Jan 16: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) youth block president Nagsini Surjeet Singh Thakur today slammed the PHE department for their failure in providing regular drinking water supply to the inhabitants of Seeri, Bhatan, Dimgi, Dachla, Thalan, Gurna, Pullar, Checha, Ohlie, Baghna and other areas of Nagsini block of Kishtwar District having population of more than 20000. In a press statement issued here today, Surjeet Singh said that the people of the area in general complaint about the non supply of water to them. He said that Flood Control and Irrigation Department has failed to construct the new kools in the area as well as fail to repair the defunct kools. He said that Shalog Nallah to Serri kool is in shamble condition and fulfill no purpose for the people living in the area. He said that there is an immediate need to repair this Kool, beside the department should also prepare fresh DPRs to construction more water Kools in the area so as to promote agriculture production in the area.
