Minutes of Apex Committee meet doctored?

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 24: Irate over some of decisions allegedly taken by the Apex Committee, the top decision making body of the Kashmiri Pandit migrant community, resentment is brewing thick and fast among those who have been adversely affected by these decisions and some of the members of the Apex Committee are also contemplating to put up their resignations. However, the entire sordid saga is being seen by many as a conspiracy to create a wedge.
It has been reliably learnt that after many migrant families had to part with their relief following some of the decisions taken by the Apex Committee in its meeting at Srinagar just before the Dubar move, there was an open display of anguish and resentment against the members of the committee including its president who had to face a hostile group of youth at Abhinav Theatre.
Trouble broke out when some of the youth of the community managed to access the minutes of the meeting in which the decisions in questions were taken. Apex Committee is a divided house over the minutes. While many members have went on to approach the Relief Commissioner, denying any role in taking decisions which irked the community. Eventhough some of the families sought legal intervention and received relief, the Authorities in the office of the Relief Commissioner and those at the Secretariat of the department of Relief have been giving conflicting statements regarding the minutes of the meeting of the Apex Committee.
Many members are also of the view that a conspiracy has been hatched by the department to defame the Congress party, which holds the porfolio of Relief and Revenue in the coalition Government. They have demanded an in depth probe into the matter to pin down those who have conspired to change the minutes of the meeting in a manner to harass the community and create a divide between the community and the Congress party.
