| People of state want to live with peace: Kichloo | | |  Asif Iqbal Naik
Kishtwar, Jan 24: Cautioning the subvert elements who are hell bent to disturb harmony and peaceful atmosphere, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, Minister of State (MoS) for Industries & Commerce, Home, asserted people of Jammu and Kashmir wants to leave with and dignity and don't push them through fear psychosis.
While addressing a mammoth public rally at ITI ground Kishtwar, in his maiden address after being inducted in minister's cabinet, Kichloo said that his priorities is to reach the people at grass root level.
He said that some vested interest people are trying to disturb the atmosphere of peace and communal harmony in Kishtwar District. He warns those elements by saying that the people of Kishtwar will give the befitting reply to those communal forces and said that he was hopeful that people of Kishtwar will join hands together by supporting his developmental agenda.
He regretted there is still a fear among the minds of people as some forces are making their survival out of it. Minister without naming any particular individual said that during his visit to downtown in Srinagar few days ago, the people give him an overwhelming response in a down town area which is considered forbidden area in some political spheres. He said that he had issued to the direction to all police officers right from SHO to SSP's to hold police-public meeting on regular basis to build better police public relations and to end fear among people. He said that he will try its best to come up to the expectation of the people as well to the expectation of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. He said, "I am hopeful that I will do the justice with the responsibilities entrust up on me by the party and the Chief Minister.'
Kichloo assured the people of Kishtwar District that he will work with zeal and zest for the betterment and upliftment this backward district of the state. He said that he is aware of the problems being faced by the people of Kishtwar District and particularly of his own constituency and after assuming the charge of MOS in the state cabinet, his aim is to dedicate himself for the people of Kishtwar and get their issues addressed
He said that 100 bed maternity hospital has been sanctioned at Kishtwar, beside said that his aim is to push for early start of construction work on at least one hydel power project so that unemployed youth gets jobs in these power project. He also announced that he will establish his office at Kishtwar so that he will remain in touch with the people of Kishtwar District. He urged upon party carders to dedicate more time towards the public related work. Earlier thousands of people enroute to Kishtwar gave a rousing reception to visiting leader during his maiden visit to home town
after being inducted in ministry. On his way Minister addressed a series of public rallies at Pul Doda, Thatri and Drabshal before he was accompanied by large people like road show to ITI Ground Kishtwar
