| PHE employees discuss pending demands | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Kathua, Feb 4: Water Workers (PHE) Employees Association has held a meeting under the chairmanship of Kuldeep Raj, district president of employees association and discussed long pending genuine demands for which the workers are struggling since long. While speaking in the meeting Kuldeep Raj appreciated the PHE minister Sham Lal Sharma for taking immediate action for the solution of over long pending genuine demands for which the workers are struggling since long. The association warmly welcomed the PHE Minister's action to resume the place of posting of employees at the same subdivisions from where they were transferred, and also gave the assurance to enhance the daily wage rate upto Rs 150 of CP workers and ITI workers. He further said the state president of INTUC Shiv Kumar Sharma two days back met with PHE minister in connection of our demands his efforts also warmly welcomed and appreciated by the association. They highlighted their demand regularization of dailywagers who have completed their seven years in service with the department, holding DPC, to repair the pump stations and to give the tool kit to the employees also. Among others who spoke on the occasion included Arjun Singh, Harbans Lal, Dars-han Singh, Vijay Kumar, Balbir Singh and Rajesh Kumar.
