| LKPA constitutes Doda, Poonch unit | | |

Jammu, MaR 10: Law Knowing People's Association (LKPA) today constituted its units in Doda and Poonch.
According to press release, in a move to spread the association, Harish Sharma was appointed as convener Doda while Azhar Usman Khan was appointed as Poonch Convener. Their appointments were made in state executive meeting by State Convener Other state executive members also approved his name as Convener for Doda District.
Their appointment was made in pursuance of their exemplary work in membership of association. Harish Sharma is a practicing advocate and is LL.M. from Bhartiya Vidyapeeth University Pune. He is a noted social activist and his appointment is aimed to strengthen association in the District. Azhar Usman Khan had been a noted student leader and now a practicing lawyer in J&K High Court.
They have been further directed to recommend executive committee for twin districts. They were also directed to take cognizance of all the legal issues of their respective districts to be taken by the LKPA. |
