| Fish farmers flagged off 5 day tour of Pulwama, Shopian | | |
PULWAMA: As many as 28 fish farmers of district Pulwama flagged off for 5-day tour to National Fish Seed Farm, Manasbal under Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) programme. The programme was conducted by Assistant Director Fisheries Pulwama.
The District Development Commissioner, Pulwama, Mr. Shafat Noor flagged off the fish farmers. He wished in success tour of these fish farmers.
The farmers will be taken to various fish farmers of district Kupwara and National Fish Seed Farm, Manasbal during the programme.
The District Development Commissioner said the visit will provide their exposure in order improved the professional skills of fish production.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue Pulwama, Dr. Shah Faisal, Tehsildar Pulwama, District Information Officer Pulwama and other concerned officers present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, 18 fish farmers of district Shopian flagged off for 5-day tour from here today.
The farmers shall visit to Dachigam Trout Hatching Farm, Harwan Trout Fish Farm, Pandach Carp Fish Farm and Ganderbal Trout Fish Farm and Mamar Mirgund Fish Farms during the tour under ATMA programme.
The fish farmers shall be acquainted with the techniques being adopted for fish rearing during the visit.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shopian flagged off the fish farmers and wished them successful tour.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner said the visit will improve the professional skills of fish production.
Assistant Director Fisheries, Shopian along with local farmers besides concerned officers were present on the occasion. |
