JAMMU: Rajesh Kumar, Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone, called on Mr. N. N. Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan, here this evening.
During the meeting, the Governor discussed with Mr. Kumar issues pertaining to internal security management in the Jammu region, particularly including surveillance of the growing pilgrimage to Mata Vaishno Deviji Shrine.
This was Mr. Kumar’s first meeting with the Governor after recently taking over as the Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone. The Governor wished Mr. Kumar a most successful tenure ahead. |
