JAMMU: With the continuous efforts of management of J&K state Agro Industries Development Corporation Limited (J&K AIDCL) for mobilizing its resources, the corporation has now shown the upward trend in its economic growth. This was stated by Commissioner Secretary Agriculture Production, Mr Asgar Samoon while reviewing the working of J&K State Agro Industries Development Corporation Limited here this afternoon. While appreciating the efforts of the Management, Commissioner Secretary, Mr Asgar Samoon stressed upon them to work hard for making the corporation a vibrant business unit of the state. He directed them to introduce professionalism in their business ventures as it is pivotal for making the corporation self sustained organization. While giving the Presentation, MD Agro Industries, Mr Abdul Majeed Bhat said the Corporation has taken up four new projects in hand in future to increase the revenue of the corporation. These includes 5000 MT capacity C.A store at Khonmoh, 100 MTs per day capacity Cattle Feed at plant at Pulwama, Srinagar, and Modernization and up gradation of Cold storage plant at Delhi. The work on four ongoing projects of the corporation is in full swing and is about completion stage which is 500 Mts cold storage plant at Lal Mandi at a cost of Rs 4.64 crore, Business centre for display-cum–sales of various Agriculture Machinery items and modernisation of canning division Khonmoh besides to make Petrol pump Lal Mandi functional. The Meeting was attended by Director Agriculture, Jammu, Mr Ajay Khujaria, Managing Director Horticulture& Marketing and planning, Additional secretary Agriculture Production and other senior officers of the department. |
