| Public Darbar held at Baramulla | | |
BARAMULLA: For redressal of public grievances, a Public Darbar was held here at Baramulla today under the Chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Baramulla, Mr. Ghulam Ahmad Khawaja.
Various deputations of Baramulla Town which include Presidents of various Mohalla Committees and Auqaf Committee participated in the Darbar. The deputations put forth their grievances which include streamlining of the electricity supply, medicare facilities, repairs and replacement of dilapidated roads and maintenance of sanitation system in town. While giving patient hearing of public grievances, the District Development Commissioner assured that all problems would be solved in a phased manner. The District Development Commissioner said on this occasion that for greater Baramulla a comprehensive plan has been formulated for which Rs. 1.76 crore would be kept available so that the prestigious glory of old town Baramulla would be restored. |
