| Father, son among three arrested for abducting teenage girl | | | ET Plus Report
Rajouri, Apr 4 : Three persons including father and son were booked and arrested by the Thanamandi police in the district for hatching conspiracy in abducting a 15 years old girl from Saj village on March,23. The accused have been identified as Farooq Ahamad his father Allha Rakha redident of Dandeshar in Noushera tehsil Mohammad Fazal resident of Ladyot.
Police conducted the medical check-up of the girl on April. and if rape is confirmed, Farooq will also be booked in rape case, informed a police officer.
Police source said that Farooq Ahmad is a driver and attached with an army unit in the area. The girl (name with held) d/o P Hussain resident of Saj is a student of 10th class. On March,23 ,as per police record, she was abducted by Farooq while coming out of examination centre.
She was first taken to Jammu and later he shifted her to Ludhiana where they stayed in a hotel for few days. On the complaint of girl's father Thanamandi police swung into action raided the house of Farooq After he was not found police used its sources to track Farooq and the girl and traced in Ludhiana in Punjab. Farooq was taken into confidence by the source that he will arrange their marriage in a court at Jammu. On April, 2 when Farooq brought the girl to Jammu he was arrested by the police. During investigation it was also established that father of Farooq and one of their relative were also involved in the conspiracy.
Both were also arrested by the police and all have been booked under sections 363/109 RPC (FIR 48/2013). |
