JAMMU: Vice Chairman Gujjar & Bakerwal Advisory Board, Bashir Naaz conducted hectic tour to Dhara, Challas, Koharias, Krishna Ghati in Poonch district.
He was accompanied by sarpanchs, panchs and senior officers of civil administration.
During visit, Naaz interacted with Sarpanchs and enquired about the present development scenario and problems of people living in these hilly pockets. He said that the government is fully aware of the problems of the people of neglected areas of the state and is striving hard to mitigate their legitimate demands. He also met with Army authorities and discussed the problems of the civilians living in border belts.
Naaz asked the sarpanchs to work with dedication and sincerity to uplift the socio-economic condition of down trodden section of the society and put in their sincere efforts to strengthen the hands of the coalition government. He stressed upon the concerned officers to work in coordinated manner to come up to the expectations of the people.
