SRINAGAR: To take stock of the arrangements being put in for the smooth functioning at Civil Secretariat, Srinagar where offices shall re-open after Darbar Move from Jammu to the Summer Capital on Monday, Secretary, General Administration Department, Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmad today convened a meeting of officers here today. Among others, Director Estates, Mr. Mohammad Hussain Malik, Director Floriculture, Senior Superintendent of Police, SSG, Deputy Director Estates, Deputy Director Hospitality and Protocol besides Executive Engineer Estates attended the meeting. Threadbare discussions were held for smooth conduct of inaugural function at Civil Secretariat besides concerned departments were asked to put in their efforts for ensuring repairs and renovation and beautification of lanes besides maintenance of records. Later, Sheikh Mushtaq accompanied by officers inspected newly constructed accommodation block of Information Technology and Industries and Commerce Departments. He also inspected the blocks of Social Welfare, Medical Education and Housing Departments which have been upgraded and renovated. He directed concerned officers to ensure proper sanitation in the Civil Secretariat premises and maintain cleanliness in and around the complex. |
