| Radhay Sham Sharma for crop compensation to farmers affected by electric short circuit | | | SRINAGAR: Vice Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir State Advisory Board for Development of Kissans, Mr. Radhay Sham Sharma has called for immediate relief to the farmers affected by burning of standing wheat crops due to electric short circuit reported in the area of Madhoon, Hiranagar, Vijaypur and other areas of district Samba and Kathua recently.
He has appealed to the Chief Minister Mr. Omar Abdullah and Minister of State for Revenue and Rehabilitation, Mr. Ajaz Ahmad Khan for immediate relief in the form of suitable compensation to the affected farmers. Mr. Sharma also said that PDD Department should take necessary steps for monitoring electric lines so that such unfortunate incidents do not occur in future. |
