| NSUI denies reports of naked dance, says leader suspended for misbehaviour | | | Mumbai: The National Student Union of India has denied news reports that its now suspended Mumbai President Suraj Thakur had danced naked at a Congress party function in Kandivli, Mumbai. “NSUI dismisses all the news reports of the alleged ‘nude party’ at an organizational function. There was no such incident at any of the organizational functions in Mumbai and there is absolutely no basis to these reports” said the organisation in a media release issued on Tuesday. The release added that Thakur, along with two other office bearers – National Delegate Hitendra Gandhi and State General Secretary Vicky Vhatkar – were suspended for a month following incidents of misbehaviour with senior members of the organisation.Bhandari also reiterated that the organisation would not tolerate any breach of its code of conduct and stringent action would be taken against any defaulter. Earlier today, media organisations including Firstpost reported that Thakur had been suspended for dancing naked at a Congress party function. |
