Vikar inaugurates MSC building Assures better Medicare facilities in far-flung areas

BANIHAL, May 11 : Minister of state for Technical Education, Power, CA&PD and Information, Vikar Rasool today inaugurated Medical Sub centre (MSC) building here at Chapnari. Completed at a cost of Rs 88.70 lakh under district plan, the newly constructed MSC would cater to the healthcare needs of a large number of population of this far-flung area.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister reiterated the commitment of the government for better Medicare facilities in far-flung areas. He said that the implementation of the flagship National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) scheme has created discernible improvement in health delivery system in the rural areas and hoped that the things would further improve with the passage of time.
Earlier, the Minister laid the foundation stone of High school building Campnari to be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 50.00 lakh. The building entrusted to R&B department is being constructed under RAMSA at.
While specking on the occasion, Vikar expressed his gratitude to union government for providing liberal funding to the state government to meet the developmental aspirations of the people.
On the occasion representatives of Ahma village apprised the minister about their problems and demands. They demanded construction of food store building for Mandakbass, irrigation koul for Paddra to Ahma, link road for Talwagam to Ahma, and special recruitment drive in Police department for the Banihal.
The peoples of the village Chapnari demanded completion of 6KM road form Masjid Shrief Chapnari to gudhar, more transformers and electric poles for Brander, Nagdhar, Chundhpura, and a water supply scheme for Zoumdo , passenger shed, adequate staff at health and education institutions. Timber store and development of playfield. While responding to the demands, the minister assured that that all their genuine demands would be looked into and redressed in a time frame manners.
