PULWAMA, June 2 : The department of Metrology today realized a fine of Rs. 15,000/- from an Ice-Cream firm at Pulwama for violating Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules. The firm was selling Ice-Cream packs with smudged original MRP which is a serious violation of Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules. The activities were carried out by Inspector, Legal Metrology, Mr. Mohammad Yasin. Meanwhile, Assistant Controller Pulwama, Mr. Kewal Krishan appealed to the general public of the area that they can register their complaint, if any, with his office or Inspector of the department and assured that the name of the complainant shall not be disclosed to anyone. |
