| CRPF Insp among two dead, eight injured | | | Srinagar, June 8 : Two security personnel including an Inspector CRPF were killed while eight others including two minors got injured in different road accidents in valley. "Two CRPF personnel of 177 Bn, identified namely as Inspector Yoginder Singh and Constable Parveiz Ahmad died today and six others were injured when the armoured vehicles, they were travelling in met with an accident at Sangri-Top, Watlab. The injured were shifted to Army Hospital, Srinagar for treatment and bodies of deceased were handed over to the concern Battalion. Concerned Police P/S Sopore has registered case.
Meanwhile, an unknown motorcycle hit and injured 12 years old Shaista Akhtar d/o Abdul Rashid Bhat r/o Gund Kuhroo at NHW Gund Kahroo, A case stands registered in this regard. In another accident, a Maruti car (7810-JK09) hit and injured Adil Fayaz Ahmad War (7) s/o Fayaz Ahmad r/o Kulangam at Kulangam, in the area falling under jurisdiction of Police post Chogal Handwara. Handwara Police has registered a case in this regard. |
