| 106 cases settled in Lok Adalat at Anantnag | | | | ANANTNAG : A Lok Adalat was held in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre in District Court Complex at Anantnag under the chairmanship of Mr. Abdul Rashid Malik Chairman District Legal Services Authority Anantnag in which various types of cases including MACT, Matrimonial, Maintenance and cases relating to bank loans and labour challans were taken-up. In the Lok Adalat as many as 203 cases were taken-up out of which 106 cases were settled and an amount of Rs. 2.95 lakh were awarded in MACT cases and Rs. 38000 as fine was recorded in labour challans. Mediations were also held in the ADR. |
