| SDP protests to include Bawe Wali Mata under Shrine Board | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 9 : Scores of Social Democratic Party (SDP) workers today gathered outside Raj Bhawan and demanded inclusion of Bawe Wali Mata under the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSV).
The activists staged a protest outside the outside the Raj Bhavan Jammu and submitted a memorandum to the Raj Bhawan authorities for early inclusion of Bawa temple in Shrine Board. The activists were led by Ajay Kuma, General Secretary, SDP and shouted slogans in favour of their demands. "The local management is only exploiting the resources of the Shrine and despite repeated requests of people to the government for its inclusion nothing has been yielded as yet" he added. |
