| JAMMU : The National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), J&K, has released an amount of over Rs. 6 crore to Director Health Services, Kashmir, Director Health Services, Jammu and Director, ISM to ensure better healthcare facilities to Amarnathji pilgrims during this year’s yatra. The doctors from the state and other parts of the country, who have volunteered to provide their services during the yatra will be provided with special incentives. To further add to healthcare services for Amarnathji pilgrims, NRHM J&K has provided funds for purchase of equipments, drugs & supplies, creating temporary infrastructure including shelter for medical officers, furniture etc besides incentives to the doctors and paramedics. Mission Director, NRHM J&K, Dr Yashpal Sharma, said that a supplementary Programme Implementation Plan (PIP) has been prepared exclusively for medical facilities for Shri Amarnath Yatra. |
