| Blood donation camp at S. P. College | | | SRINAGAR : A one day blood donation camp was organized at SP College today. The camp was organized by the NSS wing of the college in collaboration with the Department of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, GMC, Srinagar. The event was inaugurated by the Principal of the college, Dr. Yaseen Ahmad Shah, who lauded the enthusiasm shown by the students and the faculty in making this noble effort a grand success. He also appraised the Department of Hematology and Blood Transfusion for organizing such camps which help in saving precious human lives.
More than 50 student volunteers and faculty members contributed to the cause. The District Development Commissioner, Srinagar Mr. Farooq Ahmad Shah visited the college on this occasion and appreciated the student donors for being a part of this noble cause.
He also reviewed earth filing of the college sports ground. The program was coordinated by the NSS program officers of the college, Prof. Javaid Hassan Sheikh and Prof. Javed Naqi. |
