| Mir hails efforts of the corporate Sector for organising J&KCPL | | | BIJBEHARA : Government is committed to develop sports infrastructure throughout the State and in this direction special attention has already been paid by the present dispensation to augment the sports infrastructure. He said Government has already taken a number of steps to develop number of play grounds and extending better sports facilities to the young budding youth so that they are able to exhibit their talent. This was stated by the Minister for Agriculture, Gulam Hassan Mir after witnessing second match of Jammu and Kashmir Corporate Premier League (J&KCPL) played between Kahwa King and Simula Bulls at the playground of Government Higher Secondary School Bijbehara. The match has been sponsored J&K Bank Ltd, GK communication, (Ltd) IT partner STC, Event Management (SAPACE communication, HDFC Bank and FM 9.2 Radio. Earlier, the Minister who was the Chief Guest on the occasion, after interacting with the players of both the Teams, hailed the efforts of the Corporate Sector to organise a great event first time in the State and added that this great step would not only gave a chance to the young cricketers of the State but will also provide them platform to expose their hidden talent in the field. Mr. Mir said that this play ground has produced a number of world level Cricket players and added that the recent induction of the first young cricketer of the State, Mr Parvez Rasool into the National team is a live example. He said that young cricketers of the State will definitely get inspiration from this young cricketer, who by his dedication, hard work and true love for the game succeeded in getting place in the Indian team. He said that it is good initiative of the J&K Corporate sector to making best efforts to promote and inculcate sports culture in the minds of the young cricketers of the State. Earlier, the Minister was informed that in total 72 matches, would be played at different venues ,Kashmir University, Science College, Jammu and Bijbehara GHSS ground, in which 12 teams are participating.
