SRINAGAR : A group of four IAS Probationers of 2012 batch, who have been allotted Jammu and Kashmir Cadre, called on Mr. N. N. Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan, here this afternoon. The group of IAS Probationers comprised Mr. Ravinder Kumar, Dr. Piyush Singla, Mr. Mohammed Aijaz and Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah. Mr. Kumar hails from Haryana, Dr. Singla is from Chandigarh while Mr. Aijaz and Dr. Shah are from J&K.
The Governor advised the Probationers to maintain the highest level of integrity and work with dedication to deliver the goals of good governance, effective delivery of public services, and time-bound implementation of welfare and development schemes. He urged them to recognize their good luck of having an unlimited opportunity of serving the State and contributing towards the progress and prosperity of the people at large. He also advised them to learn the State language, which would enable them to first hand understand the woes of the ordinary persons. The Governor wished all the officers bright careers ahead.
