Jammu, July 15: Police has claimed to solve a teenager kidnapping case by recovering the girl and arrest of accused kidnaper form the forest belt of Ramkote in Billawar tehsil of Kathua district within a day.
As per reports, on Saturday evening Makhan Lal resident of Arnote village informed the police about kidnapping of his 15 year old daughter, after registering the case under section 363 at Police Post Ramkot, police party swung into action and raided various places to recover the girl. "A team led by In charge PP Ramkote, Chander Bushan Sharma, under overall supervision of SSP Kathua, Mohal Lal launched a massive search operation and recovered the girl within 24 hours form forest area," said police sources, adding that the team also arrested the accused kidnaper namely Mohammad Sultan (21) resident of same village.
He further told that accused today produced before magistrate and remanded to eight days of police custody till July 22. |
