Anantnag, Aug 17: Two persons died when a trial train hit them while they were crossing railway track at Fohar in South Kashmir's Monghal area of Anantnag district on Saturday evening.
Reportedly, age old men later identified as Ghulam Ahmad Mir resident of Deva Colony Anantnag and Gul Mohammad son of Mohammed Sultan, 70 year old resident of Mongahal Anantnag fell the to the train accident, when they were crossing the track in between 13/3 and 13/4 jurisdiction.
According to railway department tragic incident took place at 16:40 hours when special trial train on way from Budgam to Qazigund hit them, resulting death of the duo on spot. Police handed over the dead bodies to the families after autopsy.
