JAMMU, Aug 17: Jammu and Kashmir Tug of War Association is conducting selection trials to pick up probable for the upcoming 15th Sub-junior, 26th Junior and Senior Women Championships to be held at Rai Bareli in Uttar Pradesh from August 23 to August 26.
The selection trials shall take place at Unique Public Higher Secondary School, Gadi Garh, here tomorrow from 9 am onwards. The selected probable shall undergo a brief coaching camp before team's departure for the venue, a handout issued here today informed.
Squash Rackets team leaves for National C’ship

SRINAGAR, Aug 17: The state men and women teams left for participation in the ongoing Senior National Squash Championship at Jaipur in Rajasthan.
Before teams' departure, under the banner of J&K Squash Racket Association, the selected players practiced at Amar Singh Club and Jammu Club, the reason being State Sports Council has no such playing facility for the game in the state.
Meanwhile, the players have asked the State Government, especially the State Sports Council, to develop the playing facility for Squash at Jammu and Srinagar. |
