Jammu injured, two houses damaged in Pak firing

Poonch, Aug 18: An army Naik of Bihar unit was injured and two houses were damaged in Mendhar and Balakot sectors in Poonch district on Saturday.
Naik identified as Mangro Oran resident of Bihar was shifted to army hospital at Rajouri. Sepoy Dharminder Kumar of Bihar unit who was critically injured on August,15 when Pakistani troops had opened heavy unprovoked and indiscriminate firing on border posts manned by Bihar and Grenadier units. According to reports 18 years old Parvez Ahmad resident of Sandot village situated in between LoC and cobra fence in Mendhar tehsil, and was a porter with a local army unit , reportedly have succumbs to hisinjuries in a hospital at Jammu on Friday. According to reports pouring in from Mendhar two houses were damaged in heavy mortar and rocket shelling by the Pakistan army. One of the house was damaged in village Lanjot belong to Mohd Razak and another house of Mohd Raquib was damaged in village Sandot where army porter Parvez was injured on August,15 heavy shelling by Pakistan troopers.
