early times report
Jammu, Aug 19: National Panthers Students Union (NPSU) today alleged that the recent communal clashes in Kishtwar were totally pre-planned by state government and BJP.
Addressing the media persons here, NPSU president Partap Singh Jamwal alleged that the Kishtwar incident happened due to NC and BJP 'who are playing communal politics.'
"In 2008 the BJP took the benefit (of Amarnath Land row agitation) and they again want political benefits from Kishtwar incident. BJP gave the call of Jammu bandh for 72 hours but suddenly they are on silent mode. This shows that the BJP is trying to do the dual face politics," he claimed.
"The anger of common people against the state government was seen on the roads. The Chamber of Commerce also negotiated with the government twice and till date this negotiation was not presented in front of common people," he added.
Jamwal claimed that the negotiation which was done by state government with some organizations was totally cheating with the common people and these organizations sell the sentiments of the Jammuties.
He said that the students' community of Jammu opposes such type of communal incident and NPSU believes in taking the students of every community together. He said that the some of the political parties were trying to play a communal base politics in schools and colleges for their own politics benefits.
The NPSU president demanded that there should be ban on the entry of such people in school and colleges. Others who were present during the press conference included Sanjay Sharma, Abi Manhas, Sandeep Thakur, Dilver Singh, Deepak Raj Panday and Goutam.
