Early Times Report Rajouri Aug 20: A 20 day long Medical Training Cadre (MTC) module for 25 unemployed local youth of Kalakote area organised by 63 Rastriya Rifles (RR) concluded here today. The said valedictory ocxcasion of module was inaugurated by the commander of Tain Brigade at Kalakote. MTC was conducted by Regimental Medical Officer (RMO) in collaboration with CHC, Kalakote with an aim to enable the civilian youths to improve the medical awareness among the people of backward areas and help them in adopting healthier life style especially in view of the remote connectivity available. "After successful completion of the training the participants will be able to take care of patients on their way for medical help and spread awareness about hygiene, sanitation and healthy living in the village" said a unit offficer. On culmination of the cadre, participants were given certificate of participation by Sector Commander, Tain Sector, Dr Suresh Gupta, BMO CHC Kalakote. The valedictory ceremony of this module was attended by Army officials and other civil dignitaries. Concluding the session all the participants were presented a first aid kit by Rashtriya Rifles Kalakote. On the occasion Sector Commander, Tain Sector spoke to the students and told that the experienced learnt during conduct of cadre will be of immense help and stressed that the students should use the experience gained during cadre. |
