Ramban, Aug 20: An Educational-cum-Motivational tour organized under the OP Sadhbhavna for the girl students from Gool of Ramban district was flagged off by the Commanding Officer of the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion today.
Defence Spokesperson said that the ten day tour comprising 23 girl students and two teachers is organised by the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Force (Uniform) as part of the ongoing 'Op Sadbhavana' with an aim to showcase the development of the country to the youth from the remote and far flung areas.
"During the tour, the student will get an opportunity to visit prestigious institutes, and historic monuments at Kota and Agra, spokesperson said adding, "besides this they will also get an opportunity to interact with senior Army officers and civil dignitaries." |
