Police works out 'blind murder case'

Jammu, Oct 15: Police today worked out a blind murder case reported in the area falling under jurisdiction of Police Station Trikuta Nagar Jammu with the arrest of three accused involved in the said murder and throwing body in a gutter near Railway Station Jammu.
According to police reports, Trikuta Nagar Police Station received information regarding a body was found in the gutter at Railway Station Jammu. "An inquest proceeding U/S 174 was initiated at P/S Trikuta Nagar vide DDR No. 20 dated 26/06/2010 and after two weeks of this incident, the parent of deceased lodged a missing report at Bus Stand Police Station and the Bus Stand Police Station sent them to the P/S Trikuta Nagar for confirmation of deceased person, police said.
Police added that the parents and relatives confirmed the identity of the deceased as Masherwar Matto S/o Kamal Matto R/o158 Ram Nagar Distt West Champuran Bihar.
Quoting parents of deceased, the police said, " They also told the police that deceased has called them before reaching at Railway Station Jammu.' Taking a clue and making serious efforts, the Trikuta Nagar Police succeeded in working out the blind murder case with arrest of three accused persons from Gadi Garh Jammu, who initially were picked for questioning, police said.
During the interrogation the accused spilled beans and confessed their involvement and the trio has been identified namely as Vinod Kumar S/o Amar Saha, Suresh Saha S/o Doomi Saha and Ranjay Kumar S/o Naginder Dubey all R/o Masher Ghaon. During interrogation it was found that the accused were habitual criminal and a case already stands registered at P/S Railway Station U/S 328/379 RPC, police said.
Meanwhile after the arrest of accused, a case against FIR No 218/13 U/S 302/34 RPC has been registered and investigation is on.
