JAMMU, Oct 15: In a meeting of executive members of Anjuman-e-Imamia Jammu was held at Imambargah Sofi Shah Peer Mitha wherein the Anjuman condemned the delay in completion of sewerage work that is in progress at Circular Road and termed it as a step motherly treatment towards Muslim community keeping in view the festival of Eid. Prof Sujat Khan, Secretary Anjuman-e-Imamia said that no doubt this sewerage work is going to be beneficial for the masses but we condemned the authorities for their negligence. The authorities do not bother about the problems faced by the residents of the localities who are the daily victim of this work. Moreover, the prayers of Eid are being offered at Karbala complex and Eidgah Residency Road and a number of people will have to reach there through this route only. Khan urged the authorities to complete the ongoing work at the earliest so that the locals of Pakki Dhakki, Jullaka Mohalla, Peer Mitha, Mastgarh , Lower Mastgarh and Talab Khatikan will get some relief. |
