| Murtaza holds Mufti responsible for unemployment | | | Javaid Naikoo
Jammu, Oct 15: Hours after joining congress party, the former legislator of Peoples Democratic Party and leader in the Upper House Murtaza Khan today alleged that Mufti Muhammad Syed was responsible for unemployment in the state and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was confined to Mehbooba Mufti and Mufti Muhammad Syed only. Murtaza said that he was actually fed up in PDP since 2008 when Mehbooba Mufti without any consensus of the party senior workforce took a decision on her own to withdraw support from the coalition government and deceived the state congress leadership at a critical moment. Holding Mufti Muhammad Syed responsible for unemployment in the state, he alleged that a mechanism of recruiting youth of the state in various government departments which was framed by state congress senior leader and present union health Minister of India, Ghulam Nabi Azad soon after the coalition government was formed between PDP and state congress in 2002 was also abrogated by Mufti Muhammad syed sooner he took charge of the chief Minister of the state. "A recruitment list of 70,000 unemployed youth of the state framed by G.N Azad was abrogated by Mufti Muhammad syed after he took a single minded decision that time" said Murtaza khan Coming heavily on his former party leadership, Murtaza khan said that the whole workforce be it is top brass leadership or people working at grass root level of PDP in the state are like slaves of Mufti Muhammad Syed and Mehbooba Mufti who are powerless as they have been made voiceless and every big and small decision is taken between the daughter and the father Talking to early times, Murtaza khan said that the office bearers of PDP who are pretty sure that they may sweep 2014 assembly elections are mistaken. Khan said his decision to join the state congress is years old now. He added that he was feeling suffocated in the party now because of varied reasons and without any greed of highest level portfolio he joined Congress party only after the people whom he represents assured him of their support in the forthcoming assembly elections like they did for him in 2002. |
