| Handoo resents non inclusion of Kashmiri migrants in voter lists | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 15: BJP State Working Committee Member and Ex-Corporator Sheela Handoo has expressed anger against the government for not enrolling of votes of Kashmir Migrants in the voters lists.
As per press release, she alleged that some bureaucrats and officers in the administration having vested interests are not doing their jobs sincerely which causes a great difficulty and problems in getting them enrolled in the voters list. The process of issuing EPIC and enrolling as voters, which was started a few months back, has not been yet completed. The forms which were issued at the zonal offices of Relief organization for enrolling and issuing EPIC are still incomplete.
Handoo appealed to Chief Election Commission of India to look into this matter personally and issue orders and instructions to the concerned authorities to expedite the process of enrolling and issuing EPICs and make it less cumbersome and complicated. |
