Early Times Report vijaypur, Nov 14: Former Minister and senior Congress leader Manjit Singh today celebrated birthday of first Prime Minister of India Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru at the party office. Singh along with other party workers paid floral tributes to Pt Nehru besides remembering his contribution to the nation. Speaking before the party workers, Singh termed him a great leader of India who worked for the poor and downtrodden people of the society. He said that Nehru was a true secular who was a great visionary adding that people should also inculcate such goods ethics and moral values in their children because he was very popular among the children and he also loved children very much. The former Minister appealed the people that they should follow footsteps of Nehru.
