| What has he done for erstwhile Doda Distt? | | Azad must introspect | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 14: As the election is coming near, politicians have started to lure people by feeding lies to them. In this race, the Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad is at the top who is hungry for power and wants to become Chief Minister for the second time. For this he is conducting tour of erstwhile Doda where he is likely to lure people by accusing the incumbent government of failure to take forward the good work he had done from 2005 to 2008 saying that present government has not taken any of his good work forward which he had done from 2005 to 2008. Even if Azad's argument is accepted, why has he failed to send medical equipment to his home district which is lacking all basic infrastructure in all its hospitals. The Doda-Kishtwar has become an accident prone area where thousands of people have died because of road accidents. Road accidents happen every where but the kind of medical infrastructure needed to cater to such situations is missing. The district hospital Doda lacks a simple CT scan machine which is very important for every accident victim. Hospitals across Doda and Kishtwar district lack this equipment and other important equipments but Azad has done nothing for the area despite being Union Health Minister. Before speaking against any government or luring people to vote for him, Azad must answer this question that why he didn't send any kind of equipment to hospitals in his home district. If he couldn't have done any good in other fields, Azad should have improved the health care facilities in his home district without being dependent on the state government. The Union Health Minister has the authority to directly interfere in improving the infrastructure in this region but he didn't do it, because of his own political interests. As such the state government is to blame for the no development in this region, Azad is more responsible and he must accept his own fault. |
