| NC has secret understanding with Hurriyat to outwit PDP, PC' | | |

SRINAGAR, Nov 14: Accusing the Government led by Omar Abdullah of showing a favour to Hurriyat hardliner, Syed Ali Shah Geelani by setting him free, Kashmiris have accused the National Conference (NC) of having a secret understanding with him.
To outwit People’s Democratic Party (PDP) which is gaining ground in Kashmir and due to its rising popularity the NC according to sources has struck a deal with Geelani.
This is the reason that Geelani was set free by the Government and Party was indirectly helping him in organizing the public meetings to checkmate the PDP and People’s Conference which are emerging as the popular political movements in Kashmir, sources added. Sources said with common Kashmiris totally disillusioned with separatists and their game plan, have warned separatists not to mislead them any more as the people have suffered a lot during these years.
Sources said that common masses in Kashmir are fed up with growing terrorism and they want to lead a happy life like the people in rest of India and are ready to pay any sacrifice for restoration of everlasting peace in the trouble-torn Valley. Sources said the people in Valley are up in arms against separatists and secessionist forces and they will not allow them to mislead Kashmiris any more as the 24 year long gun culture has eaten up the vitals of the society. The Kashmiris can't be taken for granted by the secessionists and terrorists or their sponsors across the border for their vested interests, sources added.
They said that there is a discernible change in Valley and peoples mood is totally against the separatists and terrorists. No Kashmiri is ready to support the terrorists and separatists in future now and some of them have even decided to openly support the administration and police in its crusade against the terrorism. According to them, the changing mood of the people in Valley against the separatists has given a setback to separatists and they are totally perturbed now. This is the reason that common Kashmiris are not so enthusiastic towards the Hurriyat leadership and their catchy slogans as they feel that this whole is being done to ruin Kashmir and Kashmiris. |
