| Sikhs take out traditional 'Nagar Kirtan' | | | ET Report UDHAMPUR, Nov 14: A large number of Sikhs took out an impressive traditional 'Nagar Kirtan' in Udhampur city in view of upcoming 544th Parkash Utsav of Guru Nanak Dev. The Nagar Kirtan comprising of men and women after passing through main bazaars and streets of the town culminated at Shree Gurudwara Sahib. While the youth presented the breathtaking martial arts, the traditionally attired Panj Pyare of Guru were the added charm of the 'Nagar Kirtan.' The entire town was fully decorated and people had arranged fruits and sweets for Sikh Sangat at many places. Sangat recited the Bhajan and Kirtan and also distributed Prashad among the public. |
