| SBI Swankha donates water purifier to GHS Saidgarh | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 14: State Bank of India (SBI) Swankha, District Samba today donated water purifier to Government High School, Saidgarh on the occasion of Children's Day in the presence of Headmaster Sushila Gupta and other school staff members as a part of corporate social responsibility. Speaking on the occasion, Branch Manager Nidhi Anand stressed on the developmental role of SBI in providing pure and clean drinking water in the schools especially rural areas and inculcating the saving habit among the school children by opening zero balance accounts of school children. She further said that SBI has a greater role to play in rural areas by connecting every rural household and under privileged section to the bank so that they can derive maximum benefit out of the various savings schemes of the bank. Meanwhile, the Headmaster appreciated the role of bank in recognizing the difficulties of school in rural area and providing drinking water facility to the rural school children. |
